Hey all, my internet websites don’t work today, for the 2nd time in 2 months. My hosting Company says the server is under attack and they’re working on getting it fixed. Okay, so it’s under attack and they’re fixing it. But this is the 2nd time in 2 months for us. Third time in the 3 year history with them. Is this too many? Or do you guys have equivalent experience with other internet hosting companies?

I have an odd situation, and I do not know what’s causing it. I’ve a site where I can’t seem to add a category. When I purchased the site, they had no categories in there. Every time I a create a category in the normal category section of wp-admin, it shows up for a minute, but then disappears. something that you guys know of that will trigger a categories to disappear? I’ve switched themes around to see if it was related to that, and it takes place on all themes. I’ve looked at plugins, but cannot seem to find something unusual there.

I’ve noticed WP will put the newer post after the older post in the specific category. What if you wanted to rearrange this in order that an older post was put in the beginning of a web page or should you wanted to put an older post in front of an older post?. I made the post ’sticky’ and it didn’t make any difference. I guess simply because the post is part of a category and not a particular web page. Any ideas…

Just building a site and have some images that will need resizing. I do not want to use the MS image editor that now appears to be part of the MS Office package under the regime on my new Windows 7 laptop or computer – so wonder if anyone knows of a uncomplicated non-MS tool for re-jigging photographs ??
